Older StyleThe older style has an odometer that has black numbers on a white back ground, this is the thousands. The White numbers on a black back ground, this is the hundreds. The big needle reads the gallons. The small silver triangle is the low flow indicator, if this is spinning there is water flowing through the meter (could be a leak on the customer side of meter.)

Newer StyleThe new style has a digital odometer, the numbers in the black area are the thousands, the numbers in the red area are the hundreds. The low flow indicator is a small black box just below the smallest numbers on the odometer. The new style also has an antenna as seen in the picture on the right. This enables the Water Dist. to read the meters from the truck. The antenna also records the water use data on a daily basis, the District has the ability to assist a customer by utilizing this data, and showing the customer their water use in hourly increments for the last 40 days.

Do Not disconnect the antenna or mess with any part of the meter, Call the Water Dist. for anything other than turning your water off. There is a fee of up to $500.00 plus cost for tampering with the
meter or components.
